Blinded Veterans Helping Blinded Veterans
BVA is the only Congressional chartered nonprofit Veterans Service Organization exclusively dedicated to assisting America's blinded veterans. BVA Field Service Representatives travel throughout their respective regions in order to locate and counsel blinded veterans. BVA advocates for blinded veterans before the U.S. Congress and decision makers at the Department of Veterans Affairs. The organization also publishes a quarterly magazine, the BVA Bulletin, which is free of charge to all blinded veterans and interested parties. It also provides continuing education scholarships for the spouses and dependent children of blinded veterans.
